Caulking & Sealing Vancouver
Trim, windows, baseboards, corners and joints sealed properly – the prep step that gives paint its crisp lines and keeps Vancouver’s damp air out of the gaps.

The Prep Step That Makes Paint Look Finished
Caulking is invisible when it is done right and glaring when it is not. Those clean, gap-free lines where trim meets wall, around window casings, and along baseboards – that is caulking, done before the paint. Skip it or rush it and you get shadow lines, cracks and gaps that make a fresh paint job look unfinished.
It also matters for the building. In a wet climate, unsealed gaps around exterior trim and windows let moisture in. We use the right caulk for each spot – flexible paintable interior caulk, and exterior-grade sealant where weather is a factor – and tool it cleanly.
Where We Caulk & Seal
Trim & Baseboards
Sealing the gaps between trim, baseboards and walls for crisp paint lines.
Window & Door Casings
Interior and exterior casings sealed for clean lines and weather resistance.
Crown & Mouldings
Filling the joints on crown and decorative mouldings before painting.
Corners & Joints
Inside and outside corners and panel joints filled and tooled smooth.
Exterior Gaps
Weather-tight exterior sealant around trim, siding transitions and penetrations.
Bath & Wet Areas
Mould-resistant sealant where paint meets tile, tubs and counters.
Done as Part of Doing It Right
Good painters caulk as a matter of course – it is built into our prep, not an upcharge surprise. We use paintable, flexible caulk so it does not crack as the house moves, and exterior-grade sealant where moisture is a factor.
