A couple on Carolina Street called us last spring. Their 1912 worker’s cottage needed painting inside and out. Original plaster, cedar siding, tons of settling cracks from 110 years of use.

They’d been quoted $14,000 for interior alone. Seemed steep for a 1,100 sq ft cottage.

We did interior and exterior for $12,000 total. Proper plaster repair, cedar restoration, whole house. They were happy. We were literally 8 minutes away.

Mount Pleasant’s right next to us. We’re in East Van Mount Pleasant is just west of Main Street. It’s our neighbour. We paint here constantly.
